Does anyone know what this is?
I'll give you a hint.....they are dipped in milk & eggs... then in seasoned flour & cornmeal...then fried.
Papa came home with the last batch of tomatoes from the farm. We just had to make some Fried Green Tomatoes. I loved them. Tart, crispy, warm yummyness from the cast iron skillet. Just add some mac 'n cheese. It just doesn't get better than Nana's cooking. Thank God I'm a Country Boy.
