We have 'Pups'.
Well, sort of.
We have 2 Doberman Pincher dogs.
Dobies.
They are part of our family.
This is Lucy.
We got her from a man who breeds Dobies.
She was a rescue.
We have no idea how old she is.
She missed her owner and needed a new one.
She came to us looking pretty bad.
She had almost no hair. She was skinny. She looked pitiful.
We brought her home, fattened her up and we grew to love her.
This is Merlin.
We got him in 2005 as a 12 week-old pup.
He looked like a weiner dog on stilts. He could barely walk, his legs were so long.
He's a Lover.
He thinks he's a lap dog.
He weighs about 100 pounds.
He's a licker. If you wear flip flops, he licks your toes.
They like to sleep.
On the couch.
They don't get to do this since I came along.
I hope they don't hold it against me.
We love our pups.
When I was little I called them "Myrna & Sushi".
I had a bit of a speech impediment.
