Yep, it happened....again!

Yep, it happened....again. Mama took me to the dreaded Pedi office. Now Dr. L was out of town so we saw some woman Mama called Dr. Shannon. She was really nice: listened to my belly, lungs, heart, etc. She looked in my ears. I was so still, she even paid me a compliment about how cooperative I was. Then it happened: She stuck that Q-tip down my throat again! How dare she. I just got accosted by this maneuver 5 weeks ago. That's was enough for a lifetime.

Say AAAAHHHH! I mean seriously!

(By the way, Rapid Strep Screen...Negative! $25 for them to tell me it's viral & will last 5-7 days. It's already been 5. Seriously)

What are tonsils for again?

So I'm not really sure, but Mama keeps telling people that she thinks I have 'tonsillitis' again. I mean really, I went to that Dr. L about 2 months ago & he stuck a Q-tip down my throat. If you kids ever get a chance to do that, PASS. Run out the door & down the hall. It made me gag & I almost threw up. I mean, where does he get off, no warning or anything. So Mama told Dad today that if I still have fever in the morning, she's taking me back to that horrid place. These are some pics of me being "listless" after my nap today.

Anyone that knows me at all, knows that I'm never this still. (Yes that's my hand down my pants. Mom says I look like some guy named Al Bundy)

"I DO NOT want you to take my picture!"

Mom got me new jammies.

A little higher in the middle for the perfect faux-hawk.
Mommy Blog: It has been a very trying few days w/ G-man being sick. He has been SO whiney & every little thing makes him have a meltdown. Thank God I have had hubby here to split the bad times with. I think often of families with only 1 parent & I honestly don't know how they do it. Thank you to my wonderful hubby. You really keep me going. I can't tell you how much you mean to me.

Wow, what's that thing?

Mama took me over to Nana TooDoo's, put me in my swim gear & took me to the back door. When she opened it... "Wow, what's that thing?"

I wasnt' really sure what it was. I'd never seen a giant inflatable blue & white thing before. I slowly walked up to it & crawled into it face first.

Okay, so it looks like a giant bathtub.

I think I could get used to this swimming stuff.

I've been leaning back in the bathtub every night for Dad. I wonder if I could float?

Look, Mom! I've got a faux-hawk.

Car Seat Safety (Mommy Blog)

Hello there, all! I was blog-stalking today & came across a story about a little boy named Kyle who was killed in a rollover accident because his seat belt unfastened during the crash. His mom, Laura Bower, posted the following for everyone to watch.
Caution: Tissue Alert.
So sorry for her loss, I wanted to share it w/ as many people possible so this will not happen to any of our kiddos.

Onesies? (Mommy Blog)

Okay, so I have hijacked G-man's blog page. Please excuse me as I need a place to vent, brag, share, etc. & I don't have it in me to create another blog page. In the future my blog entries will have (Mommy Blog) in the title. G-Man's will remain the same.
Back to the vent at hand: I love Onesies. I think they are adorable. Now I know that my little man is getting older & Onesies are going to be harder to come by in 3T. I am the ONLY one in G-Man's life who likes them. As soon as he gets to Nana TooDoo's house, as soon as Dad gets home, as soon as Aunt B arrives, the Onesie is off & it's shorts/T-shirt time.
I know that the Onesie is my sad attempt to keep him a baby. He looks so darn cute in them. Especially the ones that come down to midthigh. Oh, my! They just make my heart crumble. We had him in a button up plaid shirt w/ shorts this weekend & I almost cried. He looked like such a big boy.
Let's start a Onesie revolution. If we petition Gerber, wouldn't they consider making them in 5T? What do you think?
